Watch Band Size Guide

Find the right InkStrap band for your Apple Watch

Choosing your band size is easy once you know your Apple Watch case size and Series.
Look at the back of your Apple Watch to find the case size in millimetres, such as 40mm, 41mm, 42mm, 44mm, 45mm, 46mm or 49mm.
Then use the guide below to select the matching InkStrap size.

Choose Your InkStrap Band Size

SMALL SIZE

Choose:

38mm / 40mm / 41mm

For compatible Apple Watch models in the smaller case-size family

LARGE SIZE

Choose:
44mm / 45mm / 46mm / 49mm
For compatible Apple Watch models in the larger case-size family.
Apple states that bands for 46mm cases are compatible with 44mm and 45mm cases, while 49mm bands are compatible with 44mm, 45mm and 46mm cases, subject to band-specific considerations.

Important: Check Your 42mm Watch

42mm needs special attention.
Apple has used the 42mm case size in different generations, so don't select a band based only on “42mm.”
For InkStrap products, choose the option that matches the Series stated on the product:
42mm — Series 1–3
Choose:
42mm (Series 1–3)
42mm — Newer Series

Choose the separate newer 42mm option shown on the InkStrap product page.

Apple introduced the newer 42mm case family with Series 10 and confirmed compatibility between its newer 42mm bands and older small-family sizes such as 41mm.

Important: Always use the Series designation shown in the InkStrap product selector. Don't assume all 42mm Apple Watches use the same InkStrap band option.

How to Find Your Case Size

1. Remove your watch from your wrist.

2. Turn it over.

3. Look at the writing around the back of the case.

You should see the case size expressed in mm.

For example:

41mm
or
45mm
Then return to the InkStrap product page and select the corresponding size option.

Still Not Sure?

Don't guess—especially if your watch says 42mm.

Check your Apple Watch Series and case size first, then compare them with the size options on the product page.
